Daily DeviationTake a close look at this deeply rich and mysterious fractal artwork. ~ The Suggester Writes: Stunningly composed from two separate fractals & with terrific flow, form and colour, I think Undersea Cave by *slobo777 is a superb and evocative image, perfectly titled. ~ This is one of the rare "I'd hang it on my wall in a heartbeat" images! This one has a lot going on, but it fits together really well. I also haven't seen anything like it. It looks like its got waves variation, and maybe a spherical+something, but I can't tell beyond that. Awesome fractal. :)

ART MAKES THE WORLD A PRETTIER PLACE!
Thank you.

You are good at spotting the variations. There are two fractals. One has spherical, fan2 and perlin which is one of my own. The other does indeed have waves, but also hexes and crackle, which are, erm, two of my own. They are not on general release because they are horrendously slow. I have a lot of test renders though, and keep finding uses for them in the layered stuff. I'll probably publish a bunch of "Interesting, But Officially Too Slow" variations someday.

I think the teal smokiness from perlin (?) is my favorite part of this fractal. I'd definately like to try some of these variations out if you decide to release them.
